Newspapers do more than report facts and record opinions. They polarize, praise, irritate, protect fruits and wrap fish. In the group show presented here, Vermelho takes the opportunity to think about possible connections and dialogues among the selected works, all dealing with printed media.

MONDAY, JUNE 4, 2019, presents works by 11 artists from the gallery’s roster and an intervention on the gallery’s facade made collectively by Fernanda Roriz, Julie Uszkurat, Marina Secaf, Pedro Feris and Victoria Cohen, all of whom also worked on the graphic design for the exhibition. The museographic design takes advantage of the same medium, the newspaper, as the primary material for the interventions, operating in a subtle and discreet manner so as not to compete with the works on display
